There is too much left to see in Prague to end it all here! Be sure and get a picture or a video as the clock strikes the hour and the figures start their parade. Interesting tidbit-Prague’s Astronomical Clock is the oldest of its kind still functioning. Clementinum. The 3 main modes of transportation are trams, busses, and the metro. The metro is the fastest, while trams allow you to gaze out the window and enjoy the city. In addition, public transportation is quite budget-friendly. The quickest way to experience Cesky Krumlov is to walk south along Latrán to náměstí Svornosti in the heart of Old Town, weaving in and out of alleyways along the way. To fuel up with some delicious Czech cuisine, stop in at Papa’s Living Restaurant (Latrán 13), one of the best local restaurants in the town.
Save. Olya and I filled 10 days in October, no problem. Do some city walking/exploring, throw in a river cruise, some shopping, a museum, an opera, and a couple of day trips (Kutna Hora and Dresden are exciting day trips), and your week will be gone. Budapest is a bit too far. Report inappropriate content.

Other pieces, like the fedora, that work well for sightseeing are: A pair of smart, comfy flatforms (like these) instead of trainers. A large, one-colour-fits-all leather tote (that zips up for safety). A large blanket scarf that doubles as a pillow for travelling. I can honestly say I got it right for once…. Café Havlíček and Café 21 are nice, too. If you want to eat great traditional Czech fare (and have a car or hire a cab), have your lunch at Na pašince. V Ruthardce is nice, too, but can get touristy. Čtyři sestry is a modern Vietnamese restaurant that is nice, too. And during the summer, treat yourself to ice-cream at Zmrzlinárna Kutná qv4j.
